Join the challenge for the Hot Rod Cup! NASCAR competes for the Nextel Cup; American Hot Rod Racers can now compete for the Hot Rod Cup right here in Cleveland and win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Daytona 500 or a check for ,000! The Hot Rod Cup Challenge starts September 10th. Bring your remote-controlled race car from American Hot Rod Racer back to the store to compete in 6 race sessions on 6 different track configurations between now and January 29th.The Hot Rod Cup is open to all racers regardless of skill--to qualify for the first race session you need only to come to the store and run a lap with your American Hot Rod Racer car any time prior to October 8th. The Hot Rod Cup Race 1 will be held on October 8th at 6:00 pm and is sure to feature exciting head-to-head racing. It's to race in any Hot Rod Cup race or bring a friend and race for free! The Hot Rod Cup Series is a points-based series just like the NASCAR Nextel Cup, and rewards you for participation. Don't worry if you can't make each race, or you're not the fastest driver--you can still win! You can accumulate points by running 3 timed laps regardless of your time, by attending the mid-week challenges, by your place in the mid-week challenge races, by attending the Hot Rod Cup races, and by your finishing spot in those races. Test your skills every Wednesday in the Mid-Week Challenge! When you build your own remote-controlled car at American Hot Rod Racer, the racing action is just beginning. Bring your car and join the head-to-head racing excitement every Wednesday at 5:30pm at the mid-week challenge! There are victory prizes for special races, and each week we raffle a large 1:10 scale remote-controlled car and also have many giveaways. Each participant leaves the store with a printout of their times in every lap of each race! It’s to participate or bring a friend and race for free! Come early so they can build their own car prior to the race.
Join us September 26th when Kepich Ford-Mercury will be sponsoring the Mid-week challenge and giving away a high-performance Ford GT by Carisma and providing Pizza for all participants.
Race, play and save during our Pinewood Derby Days! While the big kids are in school, take a break for yourself when you bring your younger racer each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am to noon to paint, decorate, assemble and race your very own Pinewood Derby car at a 50% discount! Bring a group or join the kids that are gathered to witness the fun and excitement on their faces as they race their cars and see their picture on our big screens! Our trained staff will take care of everything! Every racer gets their own hard-plastic license plate with their picture on it. |
